Ele editou o jornal literário The Egoist e escreveu para revistas como The Times Literary Supplement, Vogue, The Criterion and Poetry.

Exile and Other Poems (1923) também tratou do processo de trauma.

Alec Waugh, The Early Years (1962), p. 182 and p. 193. Aldington's discussion of Eliot is on pages 217-221 of Life for Life's Sake.
