Washington Post. November 11, 1927; "Plea for Property Denied to Brother." Washington Post. May 10, 1930.
Slide, Anthony and Gevinson, Alan. The Big V: A History of the Vitagraph Company. Metuchen, N.J.: Scarecrow Press, 1987, p. 143. Rothwell, Kenneth S. and Winograd, Annabelle. Shakespeare on Screen: An International Filmography and Videography. New York: Neal-Schuman, 1990, p. 2.
History of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, 1922-1974: Half Century of Construction. Washington, D.C.: George Washington Masonic National Memorial Association, 1980, p. 27. Washington Post. 17 de septiembre de 1932.
Tefft Johnson falleció en 1956.
