Osvaldo Morrone (1957-2011) fue un biólogo, profesor, curador y botánico argentino. Su tema central de investigación era la taxonomía de las gramíneas.
Estudió en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), recibiendo un BS en 1986, y su doctorado en 1989.
