Stephen Troyte Dunn ( 1868 - 1938 ) fue un botánico, explorador y pteridólogo inglés.
Desarrolló gran parte de su actividad científica en Kew Gardens, siendo compilador del Index Kewensis suplemento 2 de 1904 y 1905, y del suplemento 3 de 1908.La cronología del IK Entre 1903 a 1910 opositó y ganó el puesto de superintendente del Departamento de Botánica y Forestales de Hong Kong, realizando numerosas recolecciones y logrando identificaciones y clasificaciones de nuevas especies; poseyendo a lo largo de su labor taxonómica más de 650 registros IPNI.Registros de nuevas especies de Dunn
